Subjective
Pain will be a dull ache, with movement being provocative.

Quite common in clinic and often undiagnosed, can be very severe. Can accompany other shoulder pathologies.

Night pain, stiffness, pain with AROM and PROM, can refer down or up.

Pathology

Calcification of one or more of the RC tendons, this results in pain and dysfunction.

Treatment

Surgery is an option, they can either remove the calcification or use dry needling to break it up for the body to reabsorb.
