The Lessons We Can Attain
About Home
Home's a place where we can rest and get ready for life. Likewise, must use our homes to strengthen our relationship with God and let him into our lives.
We shouldn't selfishly shut everyone else out from our homes; use it to share happiness with others!
About the Business of Life
Although it's our right to tend to the daily tasks of life; if we put them first too often they'll distract us from connecting with God.
We must put God first in our lives,
ALWAYS.
From the Reluctant Ones
Their True Feelings About the King
In the parable, the guests at first used excuses to not come. However, the next time around, they resorted to killing and abusing the King's servants.
It wasn't that they couldn't, rather it was that they absolutely refused to come because they hated the King. Because of this, the King was mad and punished them severely. This represents how people sometimes speak badly of and deny Christ, and so their punishment for doing so will be great in the future.
In addition, the King had also sent multiple invitations beforehand, and yet every time they were still busy. This represents how we sometimes use lame excuses to avoid connecting with the Lord.
The Grace of Christ
The King still forgave the guest despite being insulted, just like how God always gives us more chances even though we sin and turn away from him. God is merciful and graceful.
From Those Who Did Come
Because the original guests didn't come, the King invited anyone and everyone to come. These new people were from the lower classes and often were disabled and sick.
This represents how God's ultimate grace gave a chance to us, the sinners and Gentiles, to enter the Kingdom of God.
