Knowledge is more of an idea rather than a specific topic; it is subjective and perceptive.

In the modern world, it is also believed to mean and/or symbolize love, anger, courage, health, birth, etc.

These usually aren't supported by facts, but mainly over past experiences that couldv'e been passed down through generations.

Real World Connection?

The Bible (specifically the huge one that my mother has had forever)

Knowledge: It is the holy book for the religion Christianity that revolves around the teachings of Jesus and his phophets. The lifetime of Jesus alone had been proven , historically, to be correct and in agreement with the "textbooks".

Belief: Followers of the religion believe and hold all of the passages and verses of this book to be factual and necessary to live a good and holy life.

Opinion: Those who side with the teachings of this holy book may feel compelled to say that this is the most important book created in all of mankind. And that without it, you are a fool to think you'll be invincible without it.

On the other hand, those who disagree with this book, who could be referred to as humanists, may see it as a manipulative and a text written by ignorant people.

People often cloud the true distinctions between truth and fact.

These are usually negative but could be positive in some scenarios.

Opinions can be a generalized idea of a large group of people or focused on one or a few people..

Also symbolizes love, anger, health, growth, power, courage, life, etc.

"Unpopular opinion but..."

(+) "I think that he looks good everyday".

(-) "I think that she is the most disrupting, revolting person person to ever walk this Earth".

Knowledge and perception...

In most cases, if we (as humans) perceive something to be true or have certainty in its truth, we believe it to be knowledge.

Self-induced Limitations

"Do we believe that there are "dragons", or actual limitations that are guarding us from furthering out knowledge?"

YES...to an extent.

Ignorance plays a large part in why we tend to notice gaps in our knowledge. ("Ignorance is bliss.")

What is Ignorance? : Ignorance can be culturally induced...or otherwise defined as the deliberate promoting of doubt, promotion of falsehoods, or blocking knowledge through censorship.

Many times we choose to be less knowledgeable/realistic to avoid conflict, controversy, and more complex situations.

Where does certainty come from? CREDIBILITY!!

Credibility: the quality of being trusted and believed in.

Credibility is hard to gain, but easily lost through repeated times of being "false or controversial"

When we think of beliefs as a whole, we often automatically think of religions (Christianity, Islam, Judaism, etc.)

This can be connected to personal lives: Parents. As we mature and are exposed the thoughts and ideal different from the ones we have been raised with, we begin to form our own foundations based upon the ones hat we feel are most suited to us. Thus, we questions the credibility of our parents.
