My personality quiz highly relates to some of my potential career suggestions. For my personality quiz, some of the personality traits/strengths I highly agree with as an INTJ are curious, independent, & creative. These traits transfer directly into my potential careers such as software engineer, biomedical engineer, and architect. Firstly, engineering professions require a great deal of curiosity as they must constantly be attentive to different concepts that can be tricky to navigate. Since engineering and the technology industry are constantly changing and require engineers to be lifelong learners, an engineer with a curious mind can keep on learning and enrich themself with the knowledge. Secondly, engineering-related jobs such as software and biomedical engineer require a specific type of individual who is independent and comfortable with working by themselves, as most of the time they are the person in charge of their own task without other individuals working beside them. Thirdly, engineering professions require a great deal of creativity as engineers must be able to think differently to solve problems that may arise within their work. These three main reasons are why I think software engineering and biomedical engineering are the best career for me based on my personality traits/strengths from the Myers-Briggs quiz. Next, my interest in STEM also highly correlates with the technology, engineering, and medical field. Many of my stem-related interests started with my curiosity for biology as a profession and childhood dream to be a physician when I grew up. In addition, my personality factors (Introverted, Intuitive, Thinking, and Judging) also favorably reflect the three jobs mentioned above. As these three jobs require a specific introverted-leaning individual, who can think creatively and critically analyze problems/concepts that might appear before them.
