Mathematics (they created a system of numbers based in 60), technology and writing (cuneiform) For river travel, Sumerians developed the sailboat. They built the first cards which were pulled by donkeys
Politics
they had a monarchy, they had kings and Queens, and after the King died his son took over
Fall
By 2400 B.C., Sumer's city-states, were weakened by conflict the primary caus was a decline in agricultural production, by the time the declining population had left the sumerians severely weakend. Following an Elamite invasion and sack of Ur Sumer came under Amorite rule
