Plot

Macbeth meets three witches who greet him with his new title, although he's not aware of it yet. They also tell him that he'll be the new king of Scotland and Banqo's descendants will be the heirs.
Prompted by his wife, Macbeth becomes king by killing Duncan and blaming it on the guards.

After Macduff's escape to England, Macbeth kills his wife and children, because the three witches told him to be wary of him.
Lady Macbeth dies of madness, Macbeth is killed by Macduff and Malcolm is proclaimed the rightful king of Scotland.
