PROTIENS
Protein has many roles in your body. It helps repair and build your body's tissues, allows metabolic reactions to take place and coordinates bodily functions.
Proteins are made of carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, and nitrogen
Each of the 20 amino acids has a specific side chain, known as an R group, that is also attached to the α carbon.
The building blocks of proteins are amino acids, which are small organic molecules that consist of an alpha carbon atom linked to an amino group, a carboxyl group, a hydrogen atom, and a variable component called a side chain

levels of organation
-
the secondary levels is the Tissues the Tissues are a group of similar cells of the same origin that carry out a specific function together
-
CARBOHYDRATES
-
Carbohydrates have four mainly functions. To provide energy, story energy, build macromolecules , and spare protein for other uses.
The main elements found in carbohydrates are Carbon ,Oxygen , and hydrogen. And the ratio of Carbon to Hydrogen to oxygen is 1:21.
Monosaccharide ex. glucose,fructose, gakactose
Polysaccharide ex. cellulose, starch,,glycogen, and chitin
disaccharide ex.maltose ,lactose ,sucrose
lipids
any of a class of organic compounds that are fatty acids or their derivatives and are insoluble in water but soluble in organic solvents.
The body uses lipids as an energy store, as insulation and to make cell membranes.
Lipids are composed of carbon, hydrogen and oxygen atoms, and in some cases contain phosphorus, nitrogen, sulfur and other elements.
Phospholipids (PL) are a group of polar lipids that consist of two fatty acids
Steroids are lipids because they are hydrophobic and insoluble in water, but they do not resemble lipids since they have a structure composed of four fused rings
Triglycerides are lipids (waxy fats) that give your body energy. Your body makes triglycerides and also gets it from the foods you eat.

Nucleic Acids
-
the monomer is nucleotide, the sugars found in Nucleic acids are deoxyribose , the nitrogenous base is, cytosine, adenine, guanine, and either thymine
Labled diagram
Two of the many differences between Rna and dna is rna is single stranded while dna is double stranded. Rna has sugar ribose while dna has deoxyribose.
