Definitions
Trophic Levels- feed level defined by primary source of energy.
Order: Quaternary producer -> Tertiary consumer -> Secondary consumer -> primary consumer -> primary producers
Autotrophs- produce organic compounds to survive
Chemotrophs- Producers use inorganic chemicals to gain energy for survival.
Heterotrophs: Consume organic material to survive.

Biomes
Ecosystem -> biomes, broad ecosystem patterns have predictable set of organisms living under particular conditions.
Major biomes: may have areas different from overall biomes called "microclimates".
