Differences between college and high-school writing
College professors specialize in what they teach and high school teachers can teach multiple different subjects.

English teachers give you everything to write the paper and just require you to make it 5 paragraphs
College professors require you to come up with everything and respond to you with detail about what you are doing that needs to be fixed.
