What does TKT stand for?

How is TKT evaluated?

All of the TKT modules are taken on paper, and consist of 80 questions per module.
You will have 80 minutes to take each module, and each question is worth one mark.
There are multiple-choice and matching questions.

:fire: It tests knowledge of concepts related to young learner learning and development, including the planning, teaching, and assessment of young learners’ work.

TKT: CLIL- Content and Language Integrated Learning
:check:It tests knowledge of the aims and rationale of a CLIL approach.
:straight_ruler:It also focuses on teachers’ awareness of learning demands and support strategies for learners in CLIL programs.

Why to take the TKT?

It helps people to build their confidence.
People who take the TKT test have an internationally recognized qualification that proves their language-teaching abilities.
It also enhances job prospects on the core teaching knowledge needed by teachers.
Do we need to take the all the TKT modules?

:cold_sweat:No, we can be taken one, two or even the three modules in any order or combination.
Will we get a certificate?

:smiley:Yes, we will give a separate certificate for each module that we take.
Do candidates need to have a certain level of English before taking the TKT?

:sweat: No, but it is strongly recommended that the level should be at least intermediate.
Can we use the dictionary during the test?
