The Seven Sacraments
Reconcilliation
Reconciliation is where a group of several people who are in conflict, join together to forgive each other and restore their relations. Religiously, it is also to confess the sins that one has committed and is willing to learn from them.

This is the legal and formal binding of two people as partners in a personal relationship. Traditionally, marriage has only been between a man and a woman; however in modern times, homosexual marriage has been accepted and allowed and now gay couples can go through the same rite.
"Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh" - Genesis 2:24
Holy Communion
This is the ceremony during mass where the bread and wine is blessed and becomes the body and blood of Jesus Christ and people eat it; which symbolizes how they accept God and recognise the sacrifice Jesus made on the crucifix. It is also to share intimate thoughts and feelings, specifically on a mental or spiritual level.
"For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes" - Corinthians 11:26
Baptism
The Christian rite where someone has water sprinkled onto their forehead or where they are immersed in a body of water; symbolizing the purification, regeneration and admission into the Catholic Church. Baptism is typically associated with babies and is accompanied with name-giving.
"And Peter said to them, 'Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit'" - Acts 2:38
Holy Orders
This rite is where men are ordained as priests or deacons. This sacrament is carried out by a bishop who lays their hands on the candidate - announcing them a part of the Church. These people then have special orders from God like to never marry and devote their lives to him.
"But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light" - Peter 2:9

To uncti someone who is ill. That is to say to infirm them with oniting oils that might bless them or possibly even cure them.
"And they cast out many demons and anointed with oil many who were sick and healed them" - Mark 6:13
Confirmation
Confirmation in the Catholic Church is where someone who has previously been baptised, accepts catholic beliefs and announces themselves as part of the Catholic faith. From then on, they are a true Christian.
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness" - Galatians 5:22
