Modifiable: obesity, heavy alcohol use, long term smoking, Diet high red meats, processed meats, cooking with high temps
Non-Modifiable: increase in age, African Americans, jewish decent, colorectal polyps, family history, genetic markers, history of type 2 diabetes

Decease red/processed meats
Increase vegetables, fruits, whole grains
Increase foods high in vitamin D/calcium
Decrease alcohol use/long term smoking
Do not eat charred foods
