My skills
+Independance
I am quite resilient and am motivated and so I am willing to search up any information I am particularly interested in, expanding my knowledge
Example:
Through my decision topic in further maths, I found an interest in programming and so followed a python course. This taught me a great skill and improved my research skills
-
+Good communicator:
-
Tutoring maths students has been a great opportunity to practice my communication skills. I am able to simply explain a problem, using different analogies to make it more understandable.
+Respectful
-
Example:
Being a part of the values team at my school has given me an opportunity to represent both teachers and younger students as I have to communicate with both.
+Perseverance
I am able to be persistent in trying a difficult maths problem by breaking down the question into smaller parts
Example:
Entering the National Cypher challenge with my class has been quite difficult as I am new to programming but we have all persevered and are able to progress each week
-Confidence:
I need to improve talking in front of people which is needed when talking in front of a group of people in a group project.
-Efficiency:
I need to improve the way in which I do work so I am able to fit more useful learning into a certain period of time. This would improve the efficiency of a project.
-Pessimism:
I am very good at seeing the worst in things which is not a good mindset to have when facing hard tasks. I am able to persevere but with doubts of being unable to complete the task. This may bring more stress on other people which would make it more difficult to complete the task.
