Issy: We get a lot of rubbish from the motorway - people in their cars throwing rubbish out of their windows.
Home:
Issy: I have three bins. I have two yellow bins and one red. One yellow bin is recycling, one yellow bin is for our garden waste, and one is for landfill. We are also getting a compost bin.
Mrs V: I have three bins, Yellow lid, Red lid and I have a green lid. Green lid for garden waste. That gets picked up once a month.
Micah: We should be being mindful of our rubbish and putting it into the right bin. And try to reuse what we can.
Pedro: I have a big red bin, my neighbour has a small red bin.
Pedro: Our yellow bin has graffiti on it, that is how I know it is my bin.
Norton: At home we only have land fill and recycling. A whole lot of people around the street are filling up other people rubbish bins when they are out and it is over flowing onto the street.
Hadassah: The rubbish on the street goes into the storm waters - sewer, and goes out to the ocean. This affects the animals in the sea.
Issy, Mrs V, Pedro and Micah reuse jar and containers at home for other things.
