SECTION 2 (state objectives) :star:
Step two is to determine the purpose of the lesson. Keeping in mind what the learner is supposed to gain from the class. To properly follow this step, instructors use the ABCD format.
The ABCD Method
Behavior
The action expected from the learner.
Conditions
The tools and the enviroment learners will interact with.
Audience
The instructor must keep in mind who they are teaching.
Degree
The level the learner should be in by the end of the lesson.
The Learning Outcomes
Learning outcomes is a mixture of abilities and information the learner is supposed to obtain by the end of the lesson.
It is important to acknowledge the importance of learning outcomes when it comes to planning lessons. Having an idea of what the learners will acquire in the lesson makes it easier for the instructor to make a clear outline of the classes to come. By contemplating the learning outcome, each new knowledge can be added to in the next lessons.
When it comes to writing a clear learning outcome, the instructor should make use of the ABCD and S.M.A.R.T method. Having a clear understanding of what they require from the learners and gathering necessary tools for the interraction needed.
Bloom's taxonomy and the accompanying action verbs are a necessary component when writing a learning outcome.
S.M.A.R.T learning objectives
Relevant
Whether or not the information given correlates to the topic.
Time-bound
Key timelines for when the end result will be achieved.
Achievable
Asking whether or not the expected outcome is obtainable.
Measurable
Obtaining palpable verification that the learners have acquired the knowledge they were meant to.
Specific
Specific outcomes that are expected by the end result.

SECTION 3 (select methods, media and materials) :star:
Step three is deciding the method of instruction, a fitting media format for the chosen method as well as appropriate materials for the instruction.
Possible methods include a lecture, a group project or a field trip. Possible media includes photos, videos, music or podcasts. Possible materials include infographics, textbooks and the aforementioned media.
SECTION 1 (analyze learners) :star:
Step one is for the instructor to firstly examine who they are teaching. Gathering information on the learner gives them the ability to correctly plan out the rest of the steps, by taking into account who the learners are.
Important details to learn about the students are, for example, age, gender, prior knowledge and skills, and learning styles (auditory, visual etc.)
SECTION 4 (utilize methods, media and materials) :star:
Step four is about making a plan on how to utilize the chosen method, media and materials, which can be achieved through "Five P's"
Prepare the environment
The environment needs to be suitable and accessible for each student.
A suitable environment is built with an adequate number of desks, proper lighting, and minimal noise and other distractions.
Prepare the learners
The learners are informed of the objectives and the assessment.
What will the students assignments be, how will they be graded, are there tests?
Prepare the media and materials
All the appropriate media and materials need to be gathered.
Sources need to be found, possible slideshows, graphics and worksheets created etc.
Provide the learning experience
In this part, the actual lesson happens according to all the planning and preparing made beforehand.
Preview the media and materials
A plan needs to be made in order to know how the media and materials will be used.
To make the lesson smooth and coherent, it is wise to go through the main steps and ideas beforehand as practice.
SECTION 6 (evaluate and revise) :star:
Step six is defining how effective the lesson was by evaluating what the students learned. With these evaluations, the lessons can be revised and made more effective for future use.
Evaluations can be done with tests and quizzes, essays, presentations or other projects. Feedback can also be collected from students, allowing them to point out possible areas that need to be revised.
SECTION 5 (require learner participation) :star:
Step five is getting the students to engage and interact with the lesson in a way that supports learning and understanding.
Students can be engaged with different activies such as worksheets, group projects, presentations or games.
The ASSURE Model, is a six step lesson planner. All six steps come together to create the acronym. ASSURE is created to assist the instructor to make use of different types of technology and media within the learning environment. :!!:
