New school environment might be intimidating in comparison to previous experiences
Social cues in English may differ from their own ie eye contact , gender interactions , how teacher/student relationship is perceived
There are major differences and or gaps between home/ known languages and English the phonetic system
Access to the most effective resources to suit the student's needs
New school environment might be intimidating in comparison to previous experiences
Student is new to the script used in English and needs to learn a new graphic representation of sounds
Student's confuse graphemes ( depending on known first language script) b/d/ g/j
