The sustainability of economic activity
As in the last years, we have used a lo of non-renewable resources
In the last century, they realized that we need more renewable resources
The most advanced countries, need more and more raw materials to convert and consume
But many of this are finished, and the demand affects all the global territories
There are 4 principal 'biomas' that they are being exploited because of that
Desert areas
The arctic and desert areas are important areas for the extraction of petroleum, natural gas, and minerals
These causes mayor pollution, and causes damaging effects in the inhabitants
Mountain areas
Wood, minerals, water, recreational areas and winter sports are the demands on these areas
And as a result of the high demand, the delicate ecosystem is altered in many of them
Tropical areas
They are cutting down a lo of trees in ecuatorial and tropical jungles in order to obtain fast wood
Also to extract minerals, or converting areas in to livestock farms
This causes an irreparable damage in this areas of biodiversity
Coastal areas
The water of the continental shelf is very polluted because of industry and coastal construction
It is also negatively affected by offshore wind farms and the exploitation of underwater oil and gas deposits
Sustainable economic development
This one exploits, but it does not deplete
renewable resources, it does not harm natural spaces or inhabitants
Natural resources are not inexhaustible, but there are of global interest
Because of that, we need to use them according to 3 things:
Social sustainability
That were established in the united nations
Environmental sustainability
The principles related to economic
