5.1: Hyperloop
Pro's: Speed, ability to waist less time, highly unlikely to crash, doesn't need a driver, autonomous.
Cons: Needs tunnels to work, will use up a lot of space, cost a lot, use a lot of materials, bad for the environment, would struggle to go up hills so maybe have to go through them.
detail: Vehicles, called pods, accelerate gradually via electric propulsion through a low-pressure tube. The pod floats along the track using magnetic levitation and glides at airline speeds for long distances due to ultra-low aerodynamic drag.
5.2: Roadable Synapse
Instead of using SDC's these cars turn drivers into passengers, the fully working prototype, recently unveiled at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, uses technology to engage the human driver more fully in the op.
eratio.
Pro's: Less expensive, more emersion in the car, easier to drive, semi-driverless, faster development.
Con's: Less time available in the car, concentration required, more potential crashes.

5.3:
at this current time, there aren't many developed self driving cars on the market so when something goes wrong with them, people might think that all self driving cars and bad not realising that they aren't even close to fully developed yet.
5.4
If people have had issues with autonomous things before they might not even give self driving cars because of a fear that it might happen again.
5.5
This could, once fully developed, greatly reduce the sales of self-driving cars. There hope of having a fully self-driving car community would be broken just by people who have fears from little things in their past.
