If the chief executive of Amazon, Jeff Bezos, likes to make a decision in a certain way, this can be regarded as leadership, and even his style of speech might be regarded as a matter of leadership. As people studying leaders, we would focus on the personality and behaviours of Bezos and perhaps some of his executive team. We would be far less concerned with the actions of middle ranking managers and workers at the company, unless we were trying to find out what they thought of Bezos and his team. In this sense, leaders = leadership
