Warm- up

Organise pupils to sit in a circle and discuss what they
eat for lunch.

Display the Audio text for Track 7

Divide the class into 2 groups

Procedure

Discuss the difference between healthy and less healthy
food

Give out the Activity sheets, pupils look at
and do activity 1.

Ask them to swap papers with
their friend to check their answers.

Go through the answers with the class.

Follow up

Share the information about different
food types with the class.

Think of other examples of each food type.

Display the IWB for the pupils to complete the activity.

Ask students to discuss the questions

Talk about eating balanced meals

Ask what they would like to draw in each section. Discuss which protein, vegetable and carbohydrate they
would choose for the three sections.
