Features
The win hold fuel, contains fuel system components and incluides the attachment points for the engine strut, landing gear and flight control surfaces.
The wing primary structure is carbon fiber reinforced plastic( CFRP) and incluides:
Front and rear spars
Skin panels
Stringers
The wing eibs are aluminum on both the 787-8 and 787-9 models
The side of body rib connects the outboard win section to the wing center section
The win secondary structure incluides the landing edge, trailing edge and aerodynamic fairings. The leanding edge slats attach to the front spar. These items attach to the rear spar and auxiliary structure.
