Faire= to do/make- J'ai fait= I did
Prendre= to take- J'ai pris= I took

Conjugating -er verbs in the perfect tense
To conjugate, you need the verb avoir and a past participle. With the past participle need to take off the er adding and replace it with e(with an accent). e.g. take regarder. Take of the er to form regard. Then add an e(with an accent) to form regarde. If I were to use it in a sentence it would look like-J'ai regarde(e) télévision(I watched television).
Conjugating regular -er verbs in the present tense
Simply put, to conjugate an -er verb, drop the -er and add the appropriate ending according to the person and tense. For example, in the present tense you add -e, -es, -e, -ons, -ez, or -ent to the remaining stem after removing -er.
