Most of adults in late adulthood experience physical declines that include skin losing elasticity, decreased height and weight, muscle strength diminishes, hearing and vision losses. The immune system is weakened, and many older people are more susceptible to illness, cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular and respiratory problems. Decrease in physical mobility and a loss of balance, which can result in falls and injuries. Old people tend to have a sleeping disorder due to the change in brain structure and stress hormone level (Berk, 2018).
