Formative Assesments

Go through everyone's name in the class list by using a splash board thing... When the students come in have the a splash board up with something math related. Then have them sign with their names very neatly. After, separate in groups and have them organizes the names in the categories.

Use white boards in groups to try different adding strategies... Example: 4 people, each have 3 apples. How would you add all the apples up?
