Podcast reflections
The idea that his mother sent him to an orphanage for a better life is juxtaposed with the harshness of the living conditions.
I was shocked that it only took a single night of talking to convince Vernon Butts to kill children with him.
The narrator tried to get people to sympathize with Bonin in his early years by describing in vivid details the horrors he experienced as a child.
It bothered me when the narrators would describe what he did to children and then just write the cause off as a replication of his own upbringing.
