        •A type of optical disc used to store high-definition and ultra high-definition videos and movies.
        •It uses a blue laser instead of are laser to read and write data on the disc.
        •Allow for six times more storage than a DVD.
        •Types of BD are: BD-ROM, BD-R, BD-RE
