CELLULAR RESPIRATION
cytoplasm- breaks glucose down without the use of O2
mitochondria-pyruvate is oxidized which make CO2 be released,
Matrix= 4 carbons are released as CO2 and ATP
electron transport chain-takes energy from NADH & FADH2
glycolysis- 2 steps- 1. 2 ATP activate glucose, glucose splits-> 2 G3P) (2.oxidates G3P-remove electrons/ H ions
2 ATP cause activation 2 NAD+ makes 2 NADH
citric acid cycle- connects glycolysis to it Pyruvate convert to 2 carbon acetyl -electrons picked by NAD+-
CO2 released then put into cytoplasm
1 more item...
takes in acetyl groups, 6 NAD+, 2 FAD, and 2 ADP+2 P
Glucose is energy and is used in glycolysis
ATP synthase pump -Helps make ATP
Oxygen and water are brought in
Photosynthesis
Plant takes in solar energy
The Chloroplast is were Photosynthesis takes place
ATP synthase pump creates ATP
Light Reactions make chemical energy and produces oxygen
Photosystem II-part of the light reaction- makes ATP the electron transport chain transfers election to photosystem I
Photosystem I captures light energy and makes an electron bond with NADP which then makes NADPH
Carbon Dioxide is used in the Calvin Cycle and it takes in ATP and NNADPH to regulate Sugar Synthesis
Sugar (CH2O) and glucose is used for plant food
The products in each cycle are used in the other cycle. They both work to make the Organism function and live.
They are both complex have a ton of Cells that are doing the exact same thing
