Complementation
O, C and A are obligatory elements of clause structure that are required for the complementation of the verb.

Intensive relationship
A SVCC clause is often equivalent to a clause with infinitive or "that" clause
Example:
:check: I imagined her beauty => I imagined her to be beautiful /
I imagined that she was beautiful
SVOO can be transformed into SVOA clauses by the substitution of a prepositional phrase for the indirect object, with a change of order
Example:
:check: She sent Jim a card => She sent a card to Jim

Nominal clause
:check: What he says isn't true = The thing he says isn't true.
:check: What they like the best are tea and coffee = The things they they like...

Concord by proximity
The verb tends to agrees with whatever noun or pronoun closely precedes it, instead of the head word of the subject

Existential sentence with "there"
:check: There are two tables and a desk there.
:check: There is a table and two chairs there.
Either...or
:check: Either my brother or I am to blame for the error.
Either the teacher or the students need to do this.

NEGATION
is accomplished by inserting "not" between the operator and the predication.
:check: The attempt has succeeded => The attempt has not succeeded.

Negative intensification
:check: I have no excuse whatever.
:check: I'll never, never go to there again.

Seldom, rarely, etc.
:check: I seldom have any sleep.
:check: Little need I dwell upon the enjoy of that reunion.
:check: She scarcely seems to be scared, does she?
Scope of negation
:check: I definitely didn't speak to him. (It's definite that I did not)
:check: I didn't definitely speak to him. (It's not definite that I did)
Focus of negation
:check: JOHN doesn't love Mary. (someone loves Mary, not John)
:check: John doesn't LOVE Mary. (John likes Mary, not a love)
:check: John doesn't love MARY. (John loves someone else, not Mary)
