What's the value of Consistency? :check:
People value consistency in their leaders
Consistency removes uncertainty and leads to trust
Trust leads to influence
Have you worked with people who were hot & cold?
One day they were one way & the next another
We didn’t feel secure in their leadership because, we didn’t know who they were
Lead by exmple
Your team respects you when you are doing what you are asking them to do.
How are you doing in this regard?
Your team pays much more attention to
what you do
than what you say
You can accomplish anything you want in life if you have the right strategies and take the right actions consistently
When you accept consistency is an important habit, you can use it to your advantage
This will improve how you feel
and the results you create
If you don’t develop consistency, the chances of achieving what you want, when you want, is very small

When we know why consistency is important
We take steps to develop the habit :check:
Consistency develops discipline and self-control
Forming a new habit can be challenging because it’s easier to go back to what you’re comfortable with
Your ability to be consistent requires self-control
Consistency builds a higher level of trust
The level of trust you have with yourself shows up in the level of trust others have with you
Consistency can fast track your progress in any area
Consistency will lead to progress speeding up the progress of what you want
This will help your self-confidence and help you to set bigger, more challenging goals
Consistency creates accountability
Your results will reveal if you are consistent or not
If you know you are off track you can hold yourself accountable
This means you can adjust your actions/behaviours to keep progressing towards what you want
Consistency attracts admiration
Small actions carried out consistently will lead to big results over time
When you do something for a long period, you will differentiate yourself from those who aren’t consistent
People love those who consistently work on their goals, no matter how little the efforts may seem
Consistency opens doors to opportunities
You can be highly talented but if if you aren’t consistent, no one will call you when new opportunities show up
People love to invest in talents that are consistent over time because that’s a guarantee for a return on their investments
This can help you attract new opportunities that may not have been possible if you hadn’t been consistent
Consistency helps you build momentum
When the aeroplane is about to take off, it has to go down the runaway for a few kilometres before flying
That’s the same with consistency; it allows you to build the momentum you need to accomplish your goals
Consistency helps you differentiate what is important from what is not
When you are not consistent with the pursuit of your goals, everything goes
After all, you don’t have goals, no schedules, no focus, and you’re not bothered about tracking your progress
But once you become consistent, you’ll understand the value of time and the importance of planning
So, all that is necessary towards getting your goals accomplished will naturally take their rightful place on your priority list
Consistency sustains accomplishments
Your results stop where your consistency stops
Consistency inspires those around you
As a leader or even as an individual with no leadership role, your consistency indirectly rubs off well on those around you
When you consistently work on your goals, the people around you are inspired to be consistent in working on their craft as well
Consistency begets consistency

Ways to Rethink Consistency :check:
Developing consistency doesn’t need to be difficult
It requires a shift in your thinking
You can build towards something big
by starting with small steps.
You don’t have to make major changes in a short period if you don’t need to
Create a schedule or plan to stay on track
If you don’t measure your progress, it’s difficult to stay consistent
A plan to keep track of your progress will help you improve much faster
Make better use of idle or free time.
Everyone has the same
amount of time every day
Learning to use your free time wisely can help you stay consistent
Give yourself a break when you get off track
It’s inevitable you’ll get distracted and lose focus on what you want to accomplish
Rather than beating yourself up about it, learn from your mistakes and recommit to doing what’s required

Multiply Your Time
Listen or re-listen to the Podcast

The potential results never come as quickly as you want them to!
Focusing on potential results can put you on an emotional roller coaster from day to day
Use the STREAK app
Use reminders in your environment
Send out 1 LinkedIn invitation to connect every day
