TYPES OF DISCRIMINATION
RELIGIOUS DISCRIMINATION

Discrimination based on religion consists of treating a person (employee or job applicant) unfavorably because of their religious beliefs.
FOR EXAMPLE
1.-Unfair dismissal for religion. 2.-Unfair hiring or promotion practices based on religion.3.-Undesirable hours or locations because of your religion.4.-Unequal access to training or promotion opportunities by religion.5.-Religious discrimination against the minority.
NATIONAL ORIGIN

It is the different and derogatory treatment that is given to a person based on their ethnicity or race. In the case of race, whoever discriminates assumes that their race or ethnicity is superior
AGE DISCRIMINATION
Age discrimination consists of treating a person (employee or job applicant) less favorably because of their age
FOR EXAMPLE The Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA) only prohibits age discrimination against people who are 40 years of age or older.

PREGNANCY

involves treating a woman (applicant or employee) unfavorably because of pregnancy, childbirth, or a medical condition related to pregnancy or childbirth.
SEXUAL HARASSMENT
Sexual harassment are unwanted and unwanted advances of a sexual nature. It can be a tap, a written note, a joke, a picture, etc. It can be intentional or not.

RACE, COLOR, AND SEX
Race discrimination occurs when employees are treated differently than other employees because of unalterable characteristics, such as physical features attributed to their race. For example, this Act prohibits discrimination against an Asian individual because of physical characteristics such as facial features or height.
