Yellow, red, and blue are the primary colours. Primary colours cannot be created by mixing colours, but they can be created by mixing primaries in various combinations to create all other colours. By combining two main colours (green, orange, and purple/violet), secondary colours (green, orange, and purple/violet) are created.
