CHILD-READING STYLES
陳政偉
Authoritative
Authoritative parents will set boundaries for their children, but they also give their children free space to make decisions. They regard mistakes as a learning experience. Although they will impose reasonable punishments on children’s mistakes, parents will have clear expectations for their children. Authoritative parents are educated and warm, but at the same time they instill the importance of responsibility and discipline in their children.
Laissez faire
In many cases, laissez-faire parents behave more like friends than authority figures. They will cater to the children's needs without giving too much discipline.
