There are many shades of the opaque world and one has to seek better ways to find and cherish the good in it. This, as far as I am concerned, is one of the functions true arts are obligated to serve. Documentary has no exception and actually has every advantage to do it better. The core of documentary is reality. Compared with words like journals, books and images like photography, paintings, documentary films are the closest to what it is with a visible space and a sensible time. So it is one of the best ways to look and listen before taking acute and irresponsible actions. From this point, this nonfictional motion picture helps to catch and record “invisible” culture around us. In a word, from an ethnographic point, it is one of the best passages for people to know each other and to have their culture communicated. I really like to draw on ethnographic and social science approaches to documentary, which is just one of the reasons for me to apply it.
