Juodkrante lighthouse
The lighthouse tower is black in colour, metal, and quadrangular.The lighthouse is fitted with a lighting facility whose white-light signals It is Lithuania’s most mysterious lighthouse. Surrounded by dense forests and the nearby hills, only the upper part of the lighthouse is visible from the side of the sea, whereas from the lagoon side, it is fully out of sight.
Tropical Smiltynė butterflies
In the Tropical Smiltynės butterflies you can look at the diffrent types of butterflies and learn there life cycle, behaviour, their structure and more! By the way, there is not just butterflies here, but also there are summer flowers, tropical plants, whipping birds and unusual colored fish.
Weathervane Gallery
In the Waethervane gallery you can buy and look at the diffrent kind of weathervanes. Also this place sells smaller versions of authentic Curonian weathervanes, some wonderful amber jewelery, plus linen clothing and travel guides to Lithuania and Curonian Spit.
Amber Bay
In Amber Bay you can gaze at the sculptures and go along th small bay of the Curonian Lagoon in the northern part of Juodkrante. New sculptures are created every year and the culminating event attracts more and more guests to the bay exposition of reed sculptures, which has no analogue in Lithuania. The sculptures are installed on water, under the open sky.
Lithuanian sea museum
In the Lithuanias sea museum you can spot diffrent kinds of fish breeds and sea animals. Also you can read and view exhibits of geology, archeology, ethnography, numismatics, cartography, ship engineering, writing, and philately.
Dolphinarium
In the dolphinarium you can gaze at dolphins, seals and sea lions doing spectacular, awesome tricks. But be careful, dont get splash by water! By the way, you can visit the Maritime Museum cafe and aquarium :smiley:
