Difference between do and make
MAKE
Is used to create or manufacture something
Actions that you choose to carry out
Focuses on the process of acting or doing something, we do not produce any physical object.
Example: My mom makes breakfast on Sundays.
Example: We’re making plans for the weekend
It is used for activities that create something that can be touched, a physical object.
DO
Is used to describe an action
It is also used for obligations or repetitive activities
Focuses on the process of acting or doing something, we do not produce any physical object.
Example: I can help you doing the dishes
Example: My mom always advised me to do the right thing
It is used in a broad sense, such as "to perform." In general, these actions and activities do not produce a physical object.
"Do" is used when we talk about things in general, when we do not specify the activity.
