Opaque: ligth cannot pass througth it
Examples: wood, stone, concrete
Absorbent: soaks up liquids
Examples: cotton wool, sponge, bath mat
Strong: Materials that need a large force to break them.
Examples: rope, bricks, dyneema
flexible: can be easily bent and will not break
Examples: slime, elastic band, rubber
Brittle: Breaks when bent.
Examples: glass, wooden pencil, twig
Transparent: Ligth can pass througth it.
Examples: water, glass, swimming goggles
Hard: materials cannot be easly scartched or dented.
Examples: diamonds, quartz and steel
malleable: can be formed in different shapes
Examples: clay, aluminium, paper
