Interim/Benchmark
Definition: This is testing that happens periodically throughout the school year. For example: Our school is in a nine week schedule. So every nine weeks we have a benchmah
MAP testing, this is a test that school districts implement to base student progress.
IStation Testing: Using an online platform, students complete a benchmark.
Summative
Summative assessments are assessments given at the end of topic or fully completed concept. Summative assessments cover information from the beginning of a concept to the end of a concept. It can cover information anywhere within two days, to 6 weeks .

Definition: Preformace assessments are based on something the students create or analyze rather than them picking anserws from a list like an assessment.

Diagnostic
Definition: This type of assessment closely relates to that of a pre-assessment. The teachers are able to analyze the students' weaknesses and strengths to determine how to go about teaching the lesson in a way that is more effective.
