How our bodies fight infection.......
Antibodies: They stick bacteria together so that it makes it possible for white blood cells to engulf them all at one go.
Antibiotics: Fight bacterial infections by killing bacteria or slowing their growth. They do it by attacking the wall surrounding the bacteria, and interfering with its reproduction
Vaccines: Injection of a weakened or killed amount of the disease so that the body and immune system can get used to it and build up
Antitoxins: Neutralise the toxins within bacterial cells.
