The belief that God to took human form and became Jesus to reveal the Christian message to humanity, i.e. God's Word

The incarnation is regarded as a completely loving act because in human form, God was crucified but went thought this to share the christian message
By God being an incarnate, what God is like is more tangible

Resurrection

Because Jesus was God incarnate, he had the power to do this

The Jewish people have been waiting for a Messiah and for many of them, the resurrection was the confirmation they needed to set up the new Church and become the first Christians.
The resurrection can also be seen as an example to humans to actively participate in the resurrection of God’s message of love.
Death Ritual

The ritual is associated with sadness because of loss but also hope because the person can spend eternity in peace in Heaven

Sanctity of life

• This forms the belief only God has the power to give and take life, as all forms of human life sacred
The belief stemmed from Judaism and Christian teachings where all creation was made in the image and likeness of god , therefore all human life must be valued since it is sacred and God-given
Salvation
Salvation is available for anyone who turns away from their sins, putting their faith and trust in Jesus Christ
It is believed that the only way to be saved is through Jesus as in the book of John, Jesus states "I am the way, the truth and the life, No-one comes to the Father except through me.

Linear World View
It is believed when one someone dies they go in to heaven to return to God and are Judged if they can enter heaven. If not they are sent to hell.
While Christians believe death is not the end, because after death is a new life with God, this is still linear as there is no reincarnation, i.e the soul does not live another life on earth.
The Beatitudes
Jesus message are about make change by calling people to be peacemakers, gentle, lowly, hungry for justice. This is described in Beatitudes.
The early church was known for setting up schools and hospitals, feeding the hungry and caring for orphans and widows.
