Throughout the Industrial Revolution, rich people experienced a quality of life never seen before, but poor people experienced a quality of life that was getting worse and worse, the gap between the two widened

Throughout the Industrial Revolution, the average age for starting work was only 8 and a half. Children under ten were banned from working in factories at the end of the century

Slavery
British traders sold manufactured goods in West Africa, in return for enslaved Africans. Goods included Textiles and Rum.
