What is your opinion about the issue, and what caused you to form that opinion
1.) In my opinion, he wanted to look good so people can look up to him and lied just to get a little fame.
2.) My reason for believing he is guilty is because of the sloppy description of his actions that night. He couldn't stick to the same story and details of his exploits which lead to him stuttering as if he did not know what to say.
2.2) He had no physical or visual evidence of his expedition to help support his statement so they wouldn't be false
Play devil's advocate, what opposing view could be expressed
1.) How do we know the US government wasn't trying to hide what really happened with falsified facts about his report

How could using a balance in research and reporting tactics have made a difference in the outcome of what was reported
1.) Having the right primary resources, such as video or witness, to support his claim would've been a bright idea
2.) He could've logged and took pictures of everything to make his statements more truthful. Doing a recon of the place to see how operations work through the day wouldn't be a bad idea either.
