My Teaching Philosophy
Technology
I will use technology for teaching purposes.
Technology will keep students engaged and focused on the lessons.
They will use technology to keep up with their environment.
Even though technology may not be necessary for school, it will be useful when they start using technology for their jobs.
If they are unfamiliar with technology, they won't do very well in the real world
Classroom
My classroom environment will be welcoming and comforting to all students.
I want to make it feel like home so they feel comfortable to work.
If my classroom feels unwelcoming, my student will feel uncomfortable and won't engage as much
I want the classroom to feel like the students can engage.
Curriculum
My lessons will be challenging.
My lessons will include lessons that were previously taught for review.
My lessons will encourage student to be creative.
Student will need to use their critical thinking skills for the lessons.
Students will use different learning styles to find the learning style that suits them.
Lessons will encourage student to engage no matter their learning style.
I don't want my students to feel left out
Assessments
Assessments will have the students think creatively and critically.
Assessments will have students of all learning styles engaged.
Assessments will be challenging so students can think critically.
I want students to put effort on the assessments
Attitude
I will have a positive attitude in the classroom.
I expect the students to have a positive attitude as well.
Having a negative attitude will bring down the atmosphere. It won't encourage the student to learn.
Having a positive attitude will encourage students to learn and engage in lessons
