Signs of Manipulation

Hugo pays a drug dealer to give free drugs to Odin so that he can come back to being an addict
He then has a fight with a kid during the dunk contest
When Hugo manipulated Micheal into starting a fight so that he would get in trouble
When Duke says he loves Odin like his own son in-front of Hugo
When Hugo tells Odin he gets jealous and says that its a weakness to manipulate Odin into thinking they are so close that he is comfortable benign up to him
Hugo shows affection to his girlfriend after she got Desi scarf to pull a plan that Micheal had the scarf. Task = reward.

Where Hugo tells Odin that Mike was with Desi the night before, and it makes Odin cry. Hugo was blatantly lying

Hawks: A continuous sign of wealth communal pride for the school. The disappearance of the hawk initiates conflict and a separation in school pride. Blinding the hawk symbolizes Hugo's manipulation
Doves: A peaceful symbol that contrasts with the hawk. The camera focusing later during the introduction is evidence of a tinted lense, and shows the peaceful symbols of doves are almost mamipulated
