Stony Point Protesters Might Argue After Death of Dudley George:
On September 6, 1995, Dudley George who was an innocent indigenous man who was helping protest for indigenous land taken away has been shot by an O.P.P officer by the name of Ken Deane, which was a horrific time for all the protesters at the time. Deane claimed that George was “armed,” which further inspections proved false. Furthermore, Deane was given no major punishment at all, which was unbelievable because should’ve been considered a homicide. Deane and other officers also were noted to shooting an entire bus of indigenous protesters, who were unarmed, and they all got away with it, these series of violent events committed by the Ontario police are unbelievably obvious that the cops were racially motivated to shoot George, yet they receive discipline whatsoever.
