Diya: Treatment-
Stress and hormones: if you're under stress for a prolonged period of time, the body may begin to produce increased levels of cortisol, a hormone that can weaken the immune system, and simultaneously cause elevated levels of blood sugar.
Antibiotics: Yeast infections are common in women who take antibiotics. Broad-spectrum antibiotics, which kill a range of bacteria, also kill healthy bacteria leading to overgrowth of yeast.
Lack of sleep and weakened immune system: A weakened immune system can lead to higher levels of naturally occurring acidity, which lowers your pH level, creating an environment that allows yeast to grow.
Clothing: Clothing that's tight or made of materials like nylon that trap heat and moisture might make yeast infections more likely.
Uncontrolled diabetes and poor diet: Yeast, also known as candida, feeds off of sugar. If your diabetes isn't well-controlled, your blood sugar levels can spike to unreasonably high levels. This increase in sugar can cause yeast to overgrow.
Symptoms vary depending on body location but common symptoms include-
red or purple patches (area with an altered surface)
white, flaky substance over affected areas
scaling, or shedding of the skin with flakes
cracks in the skin
rashes
soreness
maceration, or the appearance of soft white skin
