Expression

In mathematics, an expression or mathematical expression is a finite combination of symbols that is well-formed according to rules that depend on the context .
Types of polynomial
Monomial :- One term Eg:- x2y , 5m & etc.

Term
-
-
A term is a single mathematical expression . It may be a single number (positive or negative), a single variable ( a letter ), several variables multiplied but never added or subtracted. Some terms contain variables with a number in front of them. The number in front of a term is called a coefficient.
Sign
-
In mathematics, the word sign refers to the property of being positive or negative . Every real number that is non-zero is either positive or negative, and therefore has a sign. Zero itself is without a sign, or signless.
Coefficient terms
-
coefficients are the number when you multiply a number and a variable. For example 5a the coefficient in that term is 5 if you have 48e the coefficient is 48. So the coefficient is the number when you multiply a number times a variable.
Constant terms
-
In mathematics, a constant term is a term in an algebraic expression that does not contain any variables and therefore is constant . For example, in the quadratic polynomial. the 3 is a constant term.
Like and Unlike term
-
In algebra, like terms are terms that have the same variables and powers. The coefficients do not need to match. Unlike terms are two or more terms that are not like terms, i.e. they do not have the same variables or powers.
