Product Analysis
Aesthetics
It looks quite aesthetically pleasing in the simple charcoal black colourway
The sphere shape also makes it look very clean.
The premium look of it makes the buyer want to feel it, and feel the weight of it
Customer
The customer would probably be teenagers and young adults, from ages 13-30.
I think that they would choose it over another product because it looks trendy, with a charging pad, and the premium speaker look.
Environment
I think that the users will probably want to use it in 2 common places
This will be a bit of a problem if they want to use it outside with friends considering it's quite hard to carry the pad, the phone and both speakers.
Size And Safety
Safety
At Home
In a park with friends
Function
It is quite safe, as there is nothing that could harm anyone
Size
The actual speakers themselves aren't too hard to carry if you only plan to carry one, however including the pad, it is a bit too big to be easily portable.
I imagine it is quite heavy, meaning that won't be very good for portability either.
Sustainability
I think that if they made the pad a bit smaller, and tried to minimise the size of the speakers it could be quite good
To be honest, I don't think it is the best thing for sustainability
Apple phones last an average of about 2-3 years, however the parts can be reused, as apple now pay for you to return an old phone
The materials aren't the most environmentally friendly at all, but can be reused
It obviously does the function of being a speaker, however it might start crackling over time.
It has the secondary function of having volume and the fact that you can use 2 speakers at once.
It also has the function of a charging pad for the speakers.
Materials + Manufacture
It is probably not manufactured too cheaply or too expensively, it probably mostly consists of mostly plastic, with some aluminium and other materials, which I don't think are very good for the environment
