Watching the video with sound made a difference on how i perceived it, the music made the video seem like its going faster, and hearing what the people were saying in the advertisement made it clear on what these beauty standards are, and what society wants us to change and fix with our bodies

The sound added to the commercial more that I thought. The song mostly says the phrases here it comes, and in this case, it is talking about the beauty industry coming to the younger generation. The song also made the video suspenseful. with the song and the original sound of some of the advertisements makes it seem like they are trying to trick or manipulate you into believing what they are saying, like when they said "it really works" after stating the what this product will give you. Overall the music makes it feel like you are being sucked into this cycle of never ending ways you could change yoursleves for the "better" to appear more attractive.

Watching the video with sound enhanced the commercial's message and viewer's experience. It moves the viewer and captures their attention. The fast paced and upbeat music moves in sync with the fast and quick videos and transitions and the start of the music says " here it comes" with the video of the young girl appears and the camera zooms in on her referring to the fact that something will happen. Then the videos and pictures of perfect women are in sync with the music.

After hearing the commercial with the sound, everything changed. The song starts with "here it come" which means that all the beauty standards are coming our way keeps us changing the way we look just to fit in with the society standards

After watching it with sound, I understood it more because I heard what the people is saying. This si important because this shows what beauty standard is the campaign talking about and what is business doing to persuade girls to buy their products

Mai
The title of the Dove film is called "Onslaught", which means fierce or destructive attack. Looking at the commercial the word "onslaught" was dedicated to showing that the beauty standards are very high that it is hard on a girl watching these films and commercials. Throughout the video, when editing they made all the scenes flash to show the development of the beauty world and how the changes affect her child.

Without sound it gives an impression that the commercial wants to tell the girl that you are beautiful as you are. The camera angle is first is a medium shot then it zooms in to her face and eyes then it shows commercials about beauty to show that this is what she is seeing and what the campaign wants people to be aware about.

My first feeling when watching the ad is a shock. I noticed features like the company name " A Dove film" the title of the video " Onslaught" the catchphrase " talk to your daughter before the beauty industry does." The transitions were fast and overlapping.

The first thing that i was able to notice in the commercial was the girl in the first shot, and how the video started and ended with her, making sure that the main idea of the commercial is clear which is teaching daughters about beaty before the beauty industry does and ends up misleading them with false beauty standards
