General Regulations
Qualification
Representation of learning achievement through a process of assessment, enabling a shared meaning of learning to be conveyed through a number, symbol or concept.
Course
Stage of a cycle that makes up a level of the teaching and learning process, that takes place during a given school year, through the Plans and Programmes approved by Ministry of Education.
Assessment
A set of actions led by education professionals, where they can obtain and interpret information about learning, make decisions to promote learning progress and provide feedback to the teaching process.
Promotion
Action by which a student successfully completes a course, moving on to a higher course or graduating from the secondary level of education.
Regulation
An instrument by which educational institutions establish procedures for the assessment of student achievement and learning.

It will be the faculty of the Principal and Management Team to make the decision of promotion or repetition.

The decision must be based on a report prepared by the Head UTP in collaboration with the head professor and other professionals

Final Regulations
The records of qualification and school promotion will record in each course the complete list of students enrolled and withdrawn during the year.
The report must be generated by Ministerio de Educación information system and signed by the Principal of the establishment. In specific cases, the establishment will generate them manually, which must be reviewed by the Provincial Department of Education and then sent to the Curricular Registration Unit of the region.
Exceptional situations such as natural disasters and other events that prevent the continuity of the establishment, the Head of the Provincial Department of Education will carry out the necessary measures to finish a good school year.
The situations of evaluation, qualification and school promotion not foreseen in the decree will be known and resolved by the Head of the Provincial Department of Education.

Formative
consists on

Summative
It is used to provide information about the extent to which students achieved the
goals and learning objectives. It is used to certificate with symbols or calification.
This decree establishes the minimum national standards
on evaluation, qualification and promotion for students who take the
traditional modality of formal education at The Primary School and The High School.
