Interactive Alphabet is an app that is guided towards helping children learn the alphabet. The app includes alphabet sing-a-longs and works on the child's cognitive ability to focus on each letter and their sounds (Jenny Bristol, n.d.).
This app is beneficial for children with divers abilities and dual language learners because it is introducing the letters of the alphabet and their sounds and introduce pre reading skills.

Baby Sign is an app that uses animated characters to make learning sign fun. This app is beneficial for all children but especially those who are struggling to find their voice and say what they are feeling (Children's Speech Therapy, n.d.). Baby Sign supports oral language development
Baby Sign and learn is an app that will help your child communicate with their words and Sign Language. This supports literacy skills and communication skills that will be needed in the future.
Phonological Awareness
IXL Pre-K is a perfect addition to Literacy apps, there are different sections to work on from letter identification to lowercase and uppercase, rhyming, sight words, and letter sounds (IXL, 2007). This app focuses on skills that align with textbooks and state standards.
IXL Pre-K also works with children that are dual language learners, there are sections on Spanish alphabet, different vocabulary, grammar and much more. This app works hand in hand with English language learners and Spanish learners.
